Chicago Contact Tracing Corps- INTEREST FORM

The Chicago Cook Workforce Partnership is helping the City of Chicago and Cook County develop its contact tracing capacity. It has developed a website for interested parties.

What is the Chicago COVID Contact Tracing Corps?
The COVID Contact Tracing Corps are Chicagoans who work with multiple stakeholders to end the spread of COVID-19 in our communities.  In collaboration with education and research partners University of Illinois at Chicago’s School of Public Health (UIC), NORC at the University of Chicago, Malcolm X College one of the City Colleges of Chicago, and Sinai Urban Health Institute, The Chicago Cook Workforce Partnership will lead the creation of the City’s community-based COVID Contact Tracing Corps, and provide “Earn and Learn” opportunities which will allow corps members to develop skills and progress along career paths in the healthcare field.

The COVID Contact Tracing Corps is a means to address the health equity disparities receiving global attention due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The Chicago Cook Workforce Partnership is currently seeking individuals to serve as members of the Corps and Community-Based Organizations to participate in this incredibly important effort.

Community-Based Hiring
This initiative will create 600 jobs (contact tracers, resource coordinators and supervisors) while hiring directly from high economic hardship communities that have been disproportionately impacted by COVID-19. Contact tracers will earn $20 per hour; supervisors $24 per hour.   Individuals who want to apply for these opportunities should complete the interest form below.
